Renaissance Colloquium: Sanford Budick “Miltonic Mind”

Sanford Budick is a professor of English at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Author of numerous books including Kant and Milton, The Western Theory of Tradition: Terms and Paradigms of the Cultural Sublime, and Poetry of Civilization: Mythopoeic Displacement in the Verse of Milton, Dryden, pope, and Johnson, he received his Ph.D. from Yale University. He is recipient of fellowships from the National Endowment for Humanities, the Guggenheim Foundation, and the Institute for Advanced Studies in Jerusalem.
