Friday, April 22 at 4:00, LC 319. The Americanist Colloquium presents: Christopher Iannini, Assistant Professor of English, Rutgers University. Professor Iannini specializes in colonial and early American literature, the politics and history of the long eighteenth century, and the intersections between literature and science. His current research reevaluates literary and political histories of the United States by contextualizing early American culture within the critically neglected history of circum-Caribbean empire. His articles have appeared in the William and Mary Quarterly and Mississippi Quarterly.
