In memoriam: Geoffrey Hartman

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, March 16 for Geoffrey Hartman, Professor Emeritus of Comparative Literature and of English, who died on March 14.

Hartman and his wife, Renee, helped found the Fortunoff Video Archive for Holocaust Testimonies at Yale, which holds more than 4,400 testimonies, comprising over 10,000 recorded hours of videotape.
