Contemporary Poetry Group Discussion: Rita Dove

The Contemporary Poetry Colloquium will be discussing a selection of poems by Rita Dove, spanning her entire career.

This will be a great opportunity to get to know, or to return to, Dove’s work prior to her public reading April 5th (co-sponsored by the Annual English Department Foundational Courses Reading and the Schlesinger Visiting Writers Series).

Our discussions are informal, usually last about an hour, and all are welcome to join! Participants get the chance to help make sense of recent poetic projects, while learning from the particular sensibility each person brings to the poetry.
