Yale Institute of Sacred Music presents - Under One Roof: A Liturgically Inflected Poetry Reading and Conversation

Experience a liturgically-inflected reading and conversation featuring acclaimed poet couples Danielle Chapman + Christian Wiman and John Murillo + Nicole Sealey. Curated by Episcopal priest and poet Travis Helms (MDiv ’13), LOGOS Gatherings lovingly, artfully, nondogmatically fold aspects of sacred ritual into the format of a traditional poetry reading, to cultivate a shape for sharing poetry that is participatory and dynamic. LOGOS Gatherings seek to reimagine the ways in which we connect with one another, and with the sacred, through language—and to catalyze meaningful conversation and community.
