Congratulations to Paul Grimstad and Cathy Nicholson for winning Yale’s Samuel and Ronnie Heyman Prize for Outstanding Scholarly Publication

The English Department congratulates our assistant professors Paul Grimstad and Catherine Nicholson for winning Yale’s  Samuel and Ronnie Heyman Prize for Outstanding Scholarly Publication, a prize for a book by untenured faculty in the Humanities.  Professor Grimstad’s book Experience and Experimental Writing: Literary Pragmatism from Emerson to the Jameses appeared from Oxford University Press this summer.  Professor Nicholson’s Uncommon Tongues: Eloquence and Eccentricity in the English Renaissance will be published by the University of Pennsylvania Press in December.
