Anthony Marra is the New York Times bestselling author of the novels Mercury Pictures Presents and A Constellation of Vital Phenomena, and the short story collection The Tsar of Love and Techno. His work has been translated into over twenty languages and he has received the National Book Critics Circle’s John Leonard Prize, the Anisfield-Wolf Book Award, the Berlin Prize, the National Magazine Award, the American Academy of Arts and Letters’ Rosenthal Family Fund Award, and fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation, the NEA, and the Whiting Foundation. In 2017, Granta included Marra on its decennial Best Young American Novelists list. Before coming to Yale, he taught at Stanford University and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop.
