ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF 20/21C ENGLISH LITERATURE

The Department of English Language and Literature intends to make one or more non-tenured (tenure-track) appointments in 20/21C literature beginning July 1, 2013.  Areas of interest include but are not limited to: poetry, modernism, digital studies, and the English language in the era of globalization. The Departments of Comparative Literature and English Language and Literature intend to make a tenure track joint appointment beginning July 1, 2013.  We seek comparatists  whose work in 20/21C literary studies encompasses both English and at least one other national literature.  Areas of interest include but are not limited to: poetry and poetics, modernism, translation, and literature in the digital era. Ph.D. by July 1, 2013 preferred.
