John Christophe Schlesinger Visiting Writers Series: Brenda Hillman

Brenda Hillman is author of eleven highly acclaimed books of poetry, including her most recent collection, In a Few Minutes Before Later. A former Academy of American Poets Chancellor, Hillman has received the Griffin Poetry Prize, the LA Times Book Award, the William Carlos Williams Prize, and fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Guggenheim Foundation. Hillman is the Olivia Filippi Professor of Poetry at Saint Mary’s College.
