Vanessa Chung ‘20 Wins Leon Edel Prize

Vanessa Chung ‘20 has just won the Leon Edel Prize for the James portion of her essay, “ ‘Unseen Place[s],’ Unlifted Corners: Portrait’s Narrative Gaps”, which will be published in the spring issue of the Henry James Review!  The prize is awarded for the best essay on James by a beginning scholar, which typically of course means an assistant professor or advanced graduate student. 

Vanessa is a former major that just graduated last year and won a prize for this essay!
