English Department Staged Reading

The annual English Department staged reading will be held on Monday, November 14, at 5:15 pm in LC 102.  This year’s play is Richard Wilbur’s version of Moliere’s “The Misanthrope”.  The DUS himself, Professor John Rogers, has kindly agreed to be cast against type and assume the title role.

Other faculty readers are Professors Margaret Homans, Joseph Roach, and Ruth Yeazell.  They are joined by English graduate students Merve Emre, Andrew Kraebel, and Ross Macdonald, and by Drama School students Colin Mannex and Brian Valencia.  The play has been edited by Murray Biggs to run for 90 minutes without intermission.
