Please join us to hear and discuss Marguerite Nguyen’s talk, “Refugee Ecologies.” Lunch will be served.

Marguerite Nguyen is Associate Professor of English, Environmental Studies, and East Asian Studies at Wesleyan University. She is the author of America’s Vietnam: The Longue Durée of U.S. Literature and Empire (Temple University Press, 2018) and co-editor of Refugee Cultures: Forty Years after the Vietnam War (MELUS, 2016). Her essays have appeared in Diaspora, MELUS, and The Minnesota Review among others. Her research and teaching focus on 20th- and 21st-century American literature, Asian American literature, refugee contexts, and literary history.
