The Contemporary Poetry Colloquium will hold its first reading group of the term Monday, February 18, at 5:30 pm in LC-319. We will be discussing recent work by Susan Firer, selected from her book The Transit of Venus (2016). You can email Marcus Alaimo for a PDF of the poems to be discussed: marcus.alaimo@yale.edu
Our discussions, which usually run for about an hour, are informal, and all are welcome! Everyone joins in the effort to make sense of new poetic projects and learn from the particular sensibility that each attendee brings. Some light refreshments will be provided.
