Hannah Marcus, Assistant Professor of the History of Science at Harvard University, will be presenting a paper: ”Reading Prohibited Medicine in Early Modern Italy”. The paper is drawn from her latest book Forbidden Knowledge: Medicine, Science, and Censorship in Early Modern Italy, recently published by University of Chicago Press.
