Jessica Wolfe is the author of “Humanism, Machinery, and Renaissance Literature”, published by Cambridge University Press in 2004. Her second book, “Homer and the Question of Strife from Erasmus to Hobbes”, was just published by University of Toronto Press (2015). With Kevin Killeen, Wolfe is co-editor of Pseudodoxia Epidemica, vols. 2-4 of a new Complete Works of Thomas Browne, under contract with Oxford University Press. She has also begun work on an intellectual biography of George Chapman.
Jessica is Director of Comparative Literature and Professor of English and Comparative Literature at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
