Joseph North: “Literary Criticism in the 20th Century: A Three Period Approach”

Joseph North holds a PhD in English and Comparative Literature from Columbia University, where he is currently a Core Lecturer in Literature Humanities.  He is currently preparing for publication a book entitled Literary Criticism: A Political History, which tracks the history of literary criticism from the beginning of the 20^th century to the present.  His own criticism focuses on the modernist novel and on the 20^th century lyric.
