The inaugural Marina Keegan Award for Excellence in Playwriting will be awarded to Nicole Davis ‘13. The award, given to the graduating senior with the most distinguished portfolio of plays, is named after Marina Keegan ‘12, a gifted playwright and English major who was killed in a car accident five days after graduating magna cum laude from Yale.
Nicole will receive the award in a ceremony at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26, in the Saybrook Library. The ceremony will include short readings from plays by both Marina and Nicole. If the library becomes overfull, preference will be given to friends and teachers of Nicole and Marina.
