Ralph Hanna: ‘The Transmission of Richard Rolle’s Latin Works’

Friday, February 24 at 4:00, LC 319. The Medieval & Renaissance Colloquium presents: Ralph Hanna is a graduate of Amherst College and Yale University. After a protracted stint teaching at the University of California, Riverside, he was Professor of Palaeography in the University of Oxford and tutorial fellow of Keble College.  He has spent most of his career hanging around manuscript libraries, and writing up things he has found there that interest him.  His most recent large publication, collaboration with Prof. Thorlac Turville-Petre of the University of Nottingham, presented and discussed the largest surviving English medieval private library, The Wollaton Medieval Manuscripts.
