Sarah Stillman: Reading

Thursday, October 10 at 8:00, Branford Common Room. Sarah Stillman ’06 is an investigative reporter who covers social injustice. As a staff writer for The New Yorker, she has reported on police informants; civil forfeiture; and civilian workers duped into working (and sometimes dying) on American military bases in Iraq and Afghanistan. Her work has won the National Magazine Award, the Hillman Prize, and the Michael Kelly Award for “the fearless pursuit and expression of truth.” Stillman will be introduced by Anne Fadiman.
